Log of help setting stuff up:

  • creating the bug report: bug report💯
  • pointing out FreshPorts.
  • pointing out that to update the librewolf port each time i have to update a 'DISTVERSION' file or variable.

Stuff that's still not clear:

  • don't know how to clone this www/ports folder separately.
  • I also don't know how the update process works at all, I'm a years-long user of freebsd and I know a bit how to code on it and 'make world' if I have to, but I've not managed a port yet.
  • I'm still not able to build LibreWolf on Freebsd, from the codeberg::librewolf::src repository directly, which I feel is part of the fun for me on Freebsd.
