I am relatively new to Librewolf and like the security features, but I'm wondering if one may be causing a problem.
I recently began using Simplifi by Quicken as my bookkeeping software. I had no issues signing in on Librewolf and Firefox but for the past week or so it does not recognize my username and/or password.
I should note that I am also unable to log in using Firefox and after Edge worked for a while it too won't log me in. I also downloaded the Windows 10 Simplifi app and now it's not recognizing my credentials.
I just ran Librewolf in troubleshooting mode and was able to log in. However, since I'm unable to log in using the other browsers and the app, I'm wondering if it's a Windows issue.
I did chat with a Simplifi/Quicken tech support person and he did some checking and emailed this to me: My team has informed me that you are not able to connect to Simplifi due to a VPN or Network security setting that is active down in your PC.
I do not have a VPN on my desktop and I can't find any security settings that might cause this problem. I was using Comodo Security Suite but have temporarily uninstalled it thinking it might have been blocking the log in but it still persists.
Thanks for any assistance you can think of to help the Librewolf newbie.
Sorry, but I don't think there's any way we can help you with this. If the Simplifi Windows (Store?) app exhibits the same behavior, just like the Chromium-based browser Edge, it can't have anything to do with LibreWolf specifically.
Moreover, a mere screenshot won't do much good. There might be something to work with in the browser console (press F12 in either browser), but I'm pretty sure the Simplifi support people have asked for that info already.
I'm afraid this is beyond the scope of LibreWolf alone and might indeed have something to do with your Windows settings, possibly a remnant of whatever Comodo left behind.
I appreciate the information and figured it isn't a Librewolf issue.
I'm contacting Comodo customer support to pick their brain.
Cheers
